Margaret was born on August 18th, 1882 in Edinburgh, Scotland.  Margaret's father was Edward Mckenzie and her mother was Margaret Forbes.  Her maternal grandparents were Hugh Forbes and Sophia Duff. She had a brother and two sisters, named James, Sophie and Winnie.  She died at the age of 74 in 1956 in Chicago, Illinois.
