Erika Margarite Luise von Schwedler 
Erika was born on March 4th, 1904 in Karlsruhe, Germany. Erika's father was Carl Richard Robert Leopold von Schwedler and her mother was Helene Aline von Waldthausen. Her paternal grandparents were Otto Carl Friedrick Ferdinand von Schwedler and Henriette Susan Aug. Mathilde von Pelcken; her maternal grandparents were Alfred von Waldthausen and Erica Helene Karoline Muenchmeyer. She had three brothers and a sister, named Ferdinand, Leopold, Ernst and Henriette. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 71 on December 30th, 1975 in McHenry, Illinois. The funeral took place on January 3rd, 1976 in Cary, Illinois and was arranged by Kahle Funeral Home. She was buried at the Algonquin Cemetry, Algonquin, Illinois.General Notes
She was a resident of Fox River Grove since 1938 and was retired from Oak Industries, Crystal Lake, where she had been a machine operator.
The funeral service was held on Saturday Jan. 3, 1976 at the Kahle Funeral Home, Cary, IL. The Reverand Robert M Hess, Pastor of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Cary, officiated. Burial was in the Algonquin Cemetry, Algonquin IL.
