Melvin Frederich Kolwitz

Melvin was born on September 15th, 1896 in Elgin, Illinois. Melvin's father was Charles F Kolwitz and his mother was Helena Mina Landwehr. His maternal grandparents were Johann Gerhard Landwehr and Marguratte Niehaus. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Carl, Herbert, Roy, Evelyn and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 70 in June 1967 in Melrose Park, Illinois.
