Edith Martha Margarete was born on August 10th, 1930 in Rummelsburg and her baptism took place there on September 21st, 1930.  Edith Martha Margarete's father was August Julius Hermann Groth and her mother was Margarete Block.  Her paternal grandparents are Hermann Groth and Auguste Willwock; her maternal grandparents were Eduard Johann Philipp Block and Bertha Emelie Charlotte Berg. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Ernst Fritz August, Günther Georg Friedrich, Gerda and Hildegard.  She died at the age of 7 on June 5th, 1938 in Rummelsburg.
