Günther Georg Friedrich was born on June 18th, 1925 in Rummelsburg and his baptism took place there on July 19th, 1925.  Günther Georg Friedrich's father was August Julius Hermann Groth and his mother was Margarete Block.  His paternal grandparents are Hermann Groth and Auguste Willwock; his maternal grandparents were Eduard Johann Philipp Block and Bertha Emelie Charlotte Berg. He had a brother and three sisters, named Ernst Fritz August, Edith Martha Margarete, Gerda and Hildegard.  He died at the age of 18 on December 28th, 1943 in Wittebsk/Rußland.
